The Green Hills Public Library District (serving the communities of Palos Hills and Hickory Hills), located at 8611 West 103rd Street in Palos Hills received a $9,150 grant from the State of Illinois for participating in the public sector energy efficiency program. Existing interior light fixtures were replaced with energy efficient, long lasting LED fixtures and lamps. The Library District has made a commitment to reduce energy consumption and associated costs while using technology wisely.
