Live Well, Age Well: Register For Pathlights AgeWell Community Walk At The OL Pavilion

Pathlights AgeWell Community Walk steps off Saturday, Sept. 12, at the Oak Lawn Pavilion, featuring activities for the whole family.

PALOS, IL—So that we can all live well and age well, Pathlights’ inaugural AgeWell Community Walk steps off Saturday, Sept. 12, featuring food, raffles, crafts, chair yoga, flu shots, health screenings and a blood drive. The wellness event runs from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. at the Oak Lawn Community Pavilion, 9401 S. Oak Park Ave. (95th Street and Oak Park Avenue).

The family-friendly event is open to all members of the community. The highlight of the event will be the walk around the Oak Lawn Pavilion’s indoor track, showing a united force in the community advocating for older adults. Proceeds will go toward Pathlights’ resources, advocacy, programs, and services needed to live with independence and dignity in the community.

“The needs of older adults in our communities are growing. With rising costs for everything from health care to housing, the services that Pathlights provides have never been more critical,” the organization said in a statement.
