March In Palos Park's 2023 Autumn In Palos Park Parade

PALOS PARK, IL — There’s still time to sign up to march in the 2023 Autumn In The Park Parade on Saturday, Sept. 16. The parade starts lining up at 9:30 a.m. and steps off promptly at 11 a.m.

Businesses, churches, community groups, schools, youth sports teams, veterans and families are invited to march in the parade. There is no fee to sign up.

Bands, antique cars, marching units, horses, color guards, floats and marching units are needed for an exciting procession. Fill out the application and return it to the Village of Palos Park by Thursday, Aug. 31.

Participants will be emailed their parade position a few days prior to the parade. The parade travels west steps off at 123rd Street and 82nd Avenue, traveling west on 123rd and ending at 90rd Street near the festival grounds.

A quiet zone section has been established between 87th and 88th avenues so parade goers with light and sound sensitivities can enjoy and experience the parade. All sirens, alarms and horns will be silenced.
