An employee at a McDonald’s in Chicago has been terminated after scrawling the racial slur “Chino” on a customer’s coffee cup.

A photo also shows what appears to be a small face with what can be interpreted as slanted eyes and a mouth on the side of the cup. The word Chino—Spanish slang for Asian—is clearly visible. The customer who ordered the drink is Korean.
