Memorial Service for Diane Lynn Hoge

Diane Lynn Hoge, age 54, passed away early Sunday morning, after a long battle with breast cancer.

Dear daughter of Arlene Boss and the late Edward Boss. Diane is survived by her children, Matthew (22), Danny (15), and Maxine (14). Also surviving her is a step-daughter Samantha, and brothers Wayne (Diane) Boss, Dale (Bob Mensel) Boss and Scott (Brenna) Boss. She also leaves behind numerous loving nieces, nephews, great-nieces, great-nephews, and cousins.

Diane graduated from Shephard High School and earned her degree from Governors State University. She was a Parent Faculty Association (PFA) Board Member, and most recently served as committee head for the 8th grade dinner dance two years in a row. She also was responsible for planning the Back To School Movie Nights and the Fun Fairs at her children’s school. Diane was a member of the Palos Heights Women’s Club and was the organizer for the Palos Heights July 4th parade.

The Open House Visitation Reception will be held Monday, July 18th, at Calvary Reformed Church (16100 S. 104th Ave; Orland Park, Illinois) from 4 - 7 pm, where friends and family can express their condolences. Diane’s Memorial Service will immediately follow in the auditorium. Diane’s ashes will be buried next to her father in a private ceremony.
