Michael “Mike” W. White

October 18,1949 – March 1, 2024

Mike, age 74 of Palos Heights passed away on March 1, 2024. He was the loving husband to Donna (nee) Prorok, dedicated Dad to Allison (Matthew) Hinker and Cory (April Balough), Papa Mike to Tyler, Skielar, Nathan, Lana, Fia and Hannah. Brother to the late Judy (late Kevin) Carrol, late Jim (Marlene), Pam (Joe) Prible, brother-in-law to the late Dan Prorok and Dave (Kim Richardson) Prorok, Uncle to the late Jessica, Jill, Jason, Joe, Roy and Dan. He is survived by Aunt Irene and many cousins. He was a loyal friend as well as a great dog dad to Shawn.

He was forever trying new things and be better at whatever he accomplished. He strived at art, woodworking, cooking, music, speeches, trivia, an avid reader and overall, the better version of himself, a true Renaissance Man.

He was very proud of the numbers- married nearly 48 years, 2 awesome children, 6 loving grandkids. He had donated 10 gallons of blood, served 8 years on the school board, 10 years in Toastmasters.

An Open House Celebration of Life will be held from Noon to 5 on Saturday March 30 at the New Lenox VFW 323 Old Hickory Road, New Lenox
