Michael A. Mitchell

Of Hickory Hills, IL passed away on December 6, 2020. He was born in Detroit, MI on May 23, 1957. He was the beloved husband of Kelly Mitchell (nee Mack). Survived by his loving son, Morgan A. Mitchell.

Michael was one of 3 children: Dennis Mitchell and Karen Gainer (Mitchell). He was preceded in death by his parents, Errol L. Mitchell and Marsalean Mitchell (Engel).

Mike worked very hard supporting his family as a Heavy Duty Tow Truck Operator for West & Sons Towing in Addison, IL. He was very active in his son’s Boy Scout Troop #728 for many years. Mike attended University of Michigan and DePaul University.

Mike loved baseball, hockey, NASCAR, trains and motorcycles. He was a big history buff of World War I and World War II.

He was kind, loving and had a big heart. He will be missed by family and friends.

The family will have a Memorial Service at a later date. They would like to thank everyone for their prayers and well wishes.

Arrangements were entrusted to the KERRY FUNERAL HOME & CREMATION CARE CENTER, Palos Heights.
