Mischief Makers, Car Break-in, Beer Walks: Palos Hills Blotter

Mischievous Conduct

Palos Hills police investigated a report of mischievous conduct in the 7900 block of 105th Street around 10 p.m. Aug. 14. The resident told officers that a group of “unknown subjects” had been throwing food on the driveway. Police said the driveway wasn’t damaged, but the resident claims it has happened before.

Unlocked Vehicle Break-in

A resident reported someone entered their vehicle sometime before 3 p.m. Aug. 15 that was parked in the 7900 block of 112th Street. According to the report, the resident had parked their vehicle outside of their garage overnight and was left unlocked. A laptop was removed from the vehicle.

Stolen Beer

A shoplifter swiped two cases of beer from Walgreens, 11053 Southwest Highway, around 9 p.m. Aug. 19.
