Moraine Valley Cancels Spring Job Fair Over COVID-19 Worries

PALOS HILLS, IL — The Spring Job Fair originally set for Thursday, March 26, at Moraine Valley Community College has been canceled to amid coronavirus concerns. It will not be rescheduled this semester.

Due to rising concerns over potential exposure to COVID-19, several employers have withdrawn their attendance as a directive from their corporate office. “This precaution coupled with the low unemployment rate led to the decision to cancel the fair,” the college said in a written statement.

Community members looking for employment are encouraged to contact Moraine Valley’s Job Resource Center for assistance with resumes, job searches and interviewing tips.
