Moraine Valley To Hold Auditions For 'How To Survive A Pandemic'

People of all ages, ethnicities and backgrounds are encouraged to audition for an original play "How To Survive A Pandemic" Sept. 27.

PALOS HILLS, IL — Open auditions for an original Moraine Valley Theater Department production will be held from 6 to 9 p.m. Monday, Sept. 27. Auditions for the new play “How To Survive A Pandemic” will take place in the John and Angeline Oremus Theater, inside the Fine and Performing Arts Center, 9000 W. College Parkway, Palos Hills.

This new production was co-conceived by Jenni Lamb, adjunct theater instructor, and Dr. Craig Rosen, professor of theater and academic theater program coordinator, but the cast will help formulate the tragic and comical story of where society is today in living with the pandemic.

People of all ages, ethnicities and backgrounds are encouraged to audition and prepare a short monologue. Callbacks will be Tuesday, Sept. 28. Rehearsals begin in early October, and the show is Nov. 11 to 14.
