Moraine Valley Inks Transfer Agreement With Morehouse College
Moraine Valley students will have a smooth transfer to Morehouse College, a Historically Black College, thanks to an atriculation agreement.

PALOS HILLS, IL — Students at Moraine Valley Community College wishing to transfer to Morehouse College, a Historically Black College and University in Atlanta, will have a smooth transition thanks to an articulation agreement between the two institutions.
Morehouse College for men in Atlanta, Ga. is a member of the Atlanta University Center Consortium, which includes Spelman College, the all-female institution near Morehouse College, and Clark Atlanta University. This consortium allows students the option of enrolling in undergraduate academic courses offered by any of the consortium’s schools.
This marks the second articulation agreement Moraine Valley has signed with an HBCU. The first was signed in August with Voorhees University in Denmark, South Carolina.
Moraine Valley continues to add to its growing list of agreements with HBCUs and Hispanic-Serving Institutions (HSI).

“I am proud we are expanding the number of agreements we have with HBCUs and Hispanic-Serving Institutions,” said Dr. Pamela J. Haney, president of Moraine Valley. “As our students consider which colleges and universities they would like to transfer to after graduating from Moraine Valley, we want to make their transition as seamless as possible through articulation agreements with a wide range of institutions.”
