Moraine Valley Plans Mock Interview Day For Upcoming Job Fair

PALOS HILLS, IL -- Job seekers can improve and master their interviewing skills by attending Moraine Valley Community College’s Mock Interview Day from 2 to 5 p.m. Wednesday, Sept. 26. This free event will be held in the Moraine Business and Conference Center (Building M), on campus, 9000 W. College Parkway, in Palos Hills. Mock interview day is a prelude to the college’s fall job fair next month.

Employers are also sought to conduct interviews with job hunters. Interviewers should be affiliated with a business and have experience conducting professional interviews. Interviewers will engage in a formal, 30-minute mock interview with students, alumni and community members. During the first 20 minutes, employers will ask a series of general interview questions provided by the college. The remaining 10 minutes will be used to offer feedback and helpful tips to the interviewees so that they may prepare for the Moraine Valley Job Fair on Oct. 18 and other future job interviews.
