Moraine Valley Seeking Teachers For Youth Summer Programs

Elementary and middle school teachers needed for math and reading review, arts and crafts, STEM, foreign language for summer youth programs.

PALOS HILLS, IL — Moraine Valley Community College is seeking elementary and middle school teachers to join the Valley Learning Center team. This program offers engaging, hands-on courses for children and teens looking to refresh their academic skill set or explore their creative side.

Applicants must have their Type 03 teaching certificate. Course subjects include math review and prep, reading review and prep, algebra and geometry, arts and crafts, science (biology, chemistry, natural science), study skills, writing foreign language and more. Instructors earn $30 per hour.

Summer courses will run three sessions:
Session 1: Monday – Thursday, June 20 to 30
Session 2: Monday – Thursday, July 11 to 21
Session 3: Monday – Thursday, July 25 to Aug. 4
