PALOS HILLS, IL — Moraine Valley Community College is hosting a wide range of new summer courses where children and teens can create and explore several engaging, hands-on courses for children and teens this summer through its Valley Learning Center. Classes start June 7 and later.

The summer courses are led by enthusiastic teaching faculty who value hands-on instruction, educational activities and having fun while learning. Academic courses focus on an array of skill sets that will prepare elementary, middle and high school students for their next grade level.

Offerings include recording engineering basics, Anime drawing, cartooning and drawing, fashion design, world art for teens and more. Students can also work in algebra skills, solving word problems and argumentative essays. In STEM classes, students can explore through robotics, stop-motion movie making, Minecraft and Roblox.
