Neighborhood-Wide Garage Sales Offer Bargains In Palos Gardens

PALOS HEIGHTS, IL — The Palos Gardens Civic Association will host its annual neighborhood wide garage sale on Saturday, June 10, and Sunday, June 11. Garage sales will run from 8 a.m. to 2 p.m. at homes in the Palos Gardens subdivision in Palos Heights.

If you want to participate, tie some balloons to your mailbox and get ready to make the sales. There’s plenty of treasures out there for everyone. A list of addresses should be available by the weekend.

Palos Gardens is bounded by 127th Street on the north, 129th Place on the south, and Ridgeland Avenue on the west and Austin Avenue on the east.

"This is our third year of doing the community garage sales," said Nikki Gotsch, a member of the civic association. "It allows us to come together as a community and meet our neighbors."
