Wisam Hammad and his son Tahir were one of the first to arrive Thursday night to see "Magical Balloon-dude Dale" perform during Family Fun Night as part of North Palos School District 117's popular Pre-School for All program.
They (D117) have a great program and a good balance of instruction and fun," Mr. Hammad said. "Tahir loves coming and looks forward to the Family Fun Nights and I enjoy coming with him. I wish my dad did this with me when I was young.
"Wala Adawi was attending with her daughter Retal and Wala's friend Ghadeer Shehadeh and her daughter Karam Ismail.

"The kids love these Family Fun Nights because it is always something new and exciting and we love everything about them."
Dale Obrochta went through 85 balloons on his way to creating five balloon sculptures all choreographed to music. He involved kids in his act which drew laughter and applause from the audience.
