Opa! Go Greek This Weekend At Palos Hills Greek Fest

Palos Hills Greek Fest features music, rides, Greek cuisine and kids' activities Aug. 21 and Aug. 22 at Sts. Constantine and Helen Church.

PALOS HILLS, IL — Go Greek this weekend at Palos Hills Greek Fest at Sts. Constantine and Helen Church, 110th Street and Roberts Road. An end-summer-tradition, the festival features two days of music, dancing Greek cuisine, raffles, games for the kiddos and carnival rides Saturday, Aug. 21, through Sunday, Aug. 22, from 11 a.m. to 11 p.m. both days. Admission is FREE.

This is Sts. Constantine and Helen Church's major fundraiser of the year, supporting the parish ministries and K-8 Koreas School. The festival offers area residents the chance to get acquainted with the parish and tour the beautiful church.

Palos Hills Greek Fest offers an expansive menu featuring souvlaki. Gyros, Greek chicken, tiropita, Spanakopita and saganaki. Parishioners have also been baking up a storm offering such Greek favorites such as baklava, Galaktobouriko, melomakarona, kourambiedes, loukoumades, frappe and other assorted pastries. A full bar including draft and premium domestic beers, Greek beer, Ouzo and Metaxa, wine, mixed and specialty drinks is also featured.

There is also a raffle, with cash prizes of $500, $1,000, $1,500, $2,000 and a $5,000 grand prize. Raffle tickets can be purchased online for $20. Opa!
