Orland Park Doctor Accused Of Shooting At Vehicle In Palos Hills

PALOS HILLS, IL—A physician from Orland Park is accused of firing a gun at another vehicle while driving through Palos Hills, reports said.

Palos Hills police responded to a report of a shooting on March 16. The driver said someone shot at them while driving in the 10700 block of 88th Avenue. The alleged shooter fled before police arrived.

An investigation identified the other driver as Dr. Husam M. Ali, 45, of Orland Park. Ali was arrested March 18 in Burbank, reports said.

The Cook County State’s Attorney’s Office approved felony charges for attempted murder and aggravated discharge of a firearm.
