Outcast Jazz Band Performs FREE Concert Thursday in Palos Park
The Outcast Jazz Band performs classic tunes from the Big Band era, Thursday, June 16, on the Palos Park Village Green.

PALOS PARK, IL — The Big Band experience is alive and well as the Outcast Jazz Band performs classic tunes that your parents and grandparents danced to Thursday, June 16. The grounds open at 6 p.m. with the band playing from 7 to 9 p.m. on the village green, 8901 W. 123rd Street, Palos Park. The concert is FREE.
The 17-piece band concentrates on the classic Big Band sounds of the 1930s, 1940s and 1950s, with a smattering of anyone from Ray Charles to Van Morrison. The concert is supported by Palos Fine Arts and Republic Bank.
So, bring your snacks, beverages, lawn chairs and blankets and enjoy some sweet sounds under the stars. Durbin’s Pizza will also be selling concessions during the concert. For more info, call 708-671-3700.
