Over 100 Garage Sales To Be Found At Palos Hills Bargain Days

PALOS HILLS, IL — Over 100 residents (and counting) have signed up to join the first-ever Palos Hills Bargain Days, a community-wide garage sale that runs from Aug. 13 to Aug. 15.

Most sales will take place between 9 a.m. and 3 p.m.; other sellers are skipping Fridays and will be selling their treasures on Saturday and Sunday.

Perusing the list of addresses (included here), thrifty shoppers will find children and adult clothing, accessories (purses, belts, jewelry), tools, vintage housewares, pet supplies, tools, books, CDs, DVDs, patio furniture, and even a like-new kitchen sink. Make the rounds with a list of things you need, or just go with an open mind.

"We expect lots of sellers and lots of shoppers," said Dawn Williams, one of the organizers and admin of the Palos Hills Neighborhood Resources Facebook group. "We're trying to bring neighbors together."
