Palos 118 Passes County Safety Inspection for 4th Year
Palos School District 118 recently passed its Health/Life Safety visit inspection conducted by the South Cook Intermediate Service Center.

Palos School District 118 recently passed its Health/Life Safety visit inspection conducted by the South Cook Intermediate Service Center (ISC).
It is the fourth consecutive year that the District has passed its inspection without any violations.
The inspection encompassed District 118’s two elementary schools, middle school, and central office building.

Following the inspection, Dr. Robert Sabatino, who lead the team conducting the inspection, thanked Justin Veihman, Chief School Business Official for District 118 along with Kathy Pagoria, Administrative Assistant for Business Operations, and Pete Messina, Operations Maintenance, for their assistance during the visit and their continued commitment to maintaining safe facilities.
“The pride taken in your facilities was well evidenced,” wrote Dr. Sabatino.

“The District 118 community should be extremely proud of the safe, clean, attractive buildings the District provides for positive teaching and learning environments,” he wrote.
South Cook ISC inspects all public school buildings on an annual basis to assure compliance with standards necessary to ensure the health and safety of students in Illinois.
