The recent donation will be used for technology upgrades in the District's elementary schools.

The Palos 118 Parent Faculty Association (PFA) recently made a $22,000 donation to the school district that will be used for technology upgrades.
The donation will be used for the purchase and installation of twelve new 70-inch interactive displays in all of the District’s second grade classrooms at both of its elementary buildings this summer.
“As a lifelong member of the Palos 118 Community, I am inspired daily by the support, love, and commitment of our students, families, and staff,” said former District 118 PFA president Christy Wright whose term ended in June.

“As we’ve seen over the past year, having the latest technology to support our teachers and students is essential to learning,” he said. Dr. Scarsella noted that the District’s Education Foundation made a donation in January that was also used for new interactive displays in the District’s first grade classrooms.
“We’re fortunate to have two highly-engaged volunteer organizations who are actively working to support the mission of our schools,” he said.
