PALOS HEIGHTS, IL -- Candidates for Palos Heights’ first and third wards will discuss local issues this Thursday, March 14, in a forum facilitated by the Palos-Orland League of Women Voters. The forum starts at 7 p.m. and will be held at the Palos Heights Recreation Center, 6601 W. 127th St.

The forum will feature Jeffrey M. Key and William R. Moran, who are running for alderman in Ward 1; Brent Lewandowski and Patty Schwartz are the aldermanic candidates in Ward 3. Their names will be on the ballot in the upcoming April 2 consolidated election. The second and fourth ward seats are uncontested.

Before the forum begins, the audience will be able to submit questions on index cards to the forum facilitators. The questions will be reviewed by a screening committee comprised of league members for duplication and clarity. Questions will be separated by topic so that all issues can be addressed.
