Palos Heights Man Dies In Motorcycle Crash
Worth police are investigating a motorcycle vs. car crash that happened Wednesday evening at 115th Street and Harlem Avenue.
PALOS HEIGHTS, IL — A Palos Heights man was killed Wednesday evening when the motorcycle he was driving crashed into another vehicle in Worth. The motorcyclist’s passenger was also injured. Both were taken to Advocate Christ Medical Center.
The Cook County Medical Examiner identified the man as Nicholas Locascio, 26.
Around 9:45 p.m. Wednesday, Worth police and paramedics responded to the intersection of 115th Street and Harlem Avenue for a report of an accident with injuries.

Chief Paul Mackin, of the North Palos Fire Protection District, said the driver of the motorcycle and his female passenger were both on the ground and CPR was being performed on a man, the apparent driver of the motorcycle.
“The female passenger was alert and talking,” Mackin said. “The man was unresponsive.”

Both were taken to Advocate Christ, where Locascio was pronounced dead. Worth police and the Illinois State Police Traffic Reconstruction Unit are investigating.
