Palos Heights Parks And Recreation Hiring 2024 Summer Camp Counselors

PALOS HEIGHTS, IL — The Palos Heights Parks and Recreation Department is getting a head start on hiring summer day camp counselors for 2024. Candidates must be 18 years or older, although exemplary 16- and 17-year-olds will be considered.

Camp counselors will lead children ages 3 through 12 through a variety of activities, including swimming, weekly field trips, arts and crafts, gym games and more. Hours are not to exceed 40 hours per week.

Candidates must be certified in First Aid/CPR, or able to obtain certification within three months of the hiring date. Download and complete the application, then mail or drop it off at Palos Heights Parks and Recreation, 6601 W 127 St, Palos Heights, IL 60463.
