Vote For Palos Heights Police To Win Elevate Blue Law Enforcement Scholarship
Palos Heights police is a finalist to win a training scholarship at Northwestern University School of Public Safety. Voting through May 27.

PALOS HEIGHTS, IL—The Palos Heights Police Department is in the running for an Elevate Blue scholarship for advanced training through the esteemed Northwestern University Center for Public Safety. Voting ends May 27. Every vote counts, and it appears that duplicate votes will be removed.
The NUCPS offers internationally respected certificate courses and programs for law enforcement and public safety professionals at all experience and skill levels, including traffic crash investigation and reconstruction, management and leadership, and police motorcycle instructor training.

Palos Heights police were selected as one of six finalists. Residents and non-residents can help by voting for the Palos Heights Police Department.
“All command staff go through advanced training,” Palos Heights Deputy Chief John Paritske said. “I want to send a newly promoted sergeant to the course, and getting the most votes from our community would provide us this scholarship and would cover the cost of a course, which costs $5,000.”
