Palos Hills Friendship Fest Not So Friendly: Police Blotter

PALOS HILLS—Police are investigating some unfriendly incidents that occurred at last weekend's Palos Hills Friendship Fest.

Around 9:30 p.m. July 12, police responded to a report of a fight at the fest. Several juveniles punched another juvenile who was waiting in line for a ride. Some the alleged combatants were identified by victim as other kids.

The next evening on July 13, a boy placed a bag containing his cell phone on a table at the fest. When he came back, it was gone.

Also, that evening, a girl placed her clutch bag down, so she could go on a ride. When she exited the ride, the clutch containing her cell phone, keys and learner’s permit was missing.
