Palos Hills Man Causes Disturbance, Found Rummaging Through Cars: Cops
Palos Hills police said the man was trying to steal merchandise at a store.
PALOS HILLS, IL — A Palos Hills man causing a disturbance in a store was charged with one count of theft under $500 and two counts of criminal trespassing to a motor vehicle, reports said.
Officers were called to the 10300 block of Harlem Avenue for a report of a man, later identified as Gabriel Torres, 35, trying to steal merchandise at a store, according to the report. By the time officers arrived, police said Torres had already left the store.
After getting a description from store employees, officers found Torres rummaging through vehicles in the 8500 block of 103rd Terrace, police said.
