Palos Hills recorded the highest snow accumulation with thirteen inches. More area snow totals.

PALOS HILLS, IL -- Palos Hills accumulated the highest snowfall total during the first wave of a snowstorm that clobbered the Chicago area on Friday, closing schools and creating traffic messes. According to the National Weather Service, Palos Hills clocked in at 13 inches. Two more waves are expected Saturday and Sunday, up to six inches of snow. Here are more area snow totals:
