Palos Park To Hold Electronic Recycling Event This Friday

PALOS PARK — Palos Park residents can drop off electronics for recycling Friday, Aug. 19, at the Kaptur Administrative Center parking lot, 8999 W. 123rd St. The event runs from 8 a.m. to 1 p.m. or until the container is full, after which no more electronic items will be accepted.

Households are limited to two items, including:

• Computer monitors
• Keyboard and computer mouses
• Printers, fax machines and scanners
• Televisions
• DVD player, DVD recorders and VCRs
• Digital converter boxes
• Cable servers and satellite receivers
• Portable digital music players and video game consoles

You must have a Village of Palos Park 2022-23 vehicle sticker to participate. The container fills up fast, so get there early.
