Palos Park Police Will Give Rides Home To 'Black Wednesday' Partiers
Call Palos Park police for a ride home if you've had too much to drink the night before Thanksgiving.

PALOS PARK, IL — The night before Thanksgiving is considered one of the biggest party nights of the year. Black Wednesday Eve, as it has come to be known, is especially popular among college students or those just wanting to fortify themselves before getting together with relatives for the holiday.
If you are in Palos Park on Black Wednesday and have had too much to drink, Palos Park police will be giving rides. Call them at 708-448-2191 and officers will get you home safely without lectures. Police will not drive you to another bar or party.
Chief Joe Miller said Palos Park officers will be deployed to watch for speeding, and focus on high-risk behaviors like impaired driving, seatbelt violations and aggressive or distracted driving.
