Palos South 6/7 Volleyball Wins Season Conference, 2nd in Post Season

Palos South’s sixth and seventh grade girls volleyball team won the Southwest Interscholastic Conference (SWIC) Season Championship with a 15-1 regular season record and 17-2 record in the post-season. In the post-season SWIC tournament championship match, the Cardinals lost in 2 out of 3 games against the Prairie View Eagles for a second-place finish.

Palos South players Maddie Amedio, Savannah Oliva, and Victoria Gasienica-Sobczak were named to the SWIC All-Conference team.

“The girls put forth so much time and effort to achieve all their success this season and I appreciate their accomplishments,” said coach Scott Adams.
