Palos South 8th Grade Girls Volleyball Team Wins SWIC Championship
This is the sixth straight year the Cardinals have come out on top in the post-season championship.

The Palos South Middle School 8th grade girls volleyball team won the Southwest Interscholastic Conference (SWIC) championship held on March 8th at Central Middle School.
The eighth-grade team won their championship game against Prairie View Middle School and finished the season with an overall record of 18 wins and 1 loss. This is the sixth straight year that Coach Marty Duggan has led the Cardinals to a first-place finish in the tournament.
Ava Mackey and Teagan Jeffers were named to the SWIC All-Conference team and Clare Arnold was named Tournament MVP.

The Palos South eighth grade team includes: Clare Arnold, Ava Mackey, Madison Griffin, Olivia Majercak, Evelyn Galassi, Michelle Rozanski, Riley Krol, Teagan Jeffers, Jenna Matarieh, Molly Hackett, Lexie Rispin, Zoe Farano, Eden Jensen, and Emylli Mansour.
"This was the perfect ending to a great season,” said Coach Duggan, adding, “These girls have worked tirelessly since December to get to this point, and I am proud of the way they represented our school and our volleyball program."
