Palos South Students Perform Aladdin Jr.

Students at Palos School District 118's South Middle School hosted 2 nights of performances of the musical Aladdin Jr. at Stagg High School.

Students at Palos School District 118’s South Middle School hosted two nights of performances of the musical Aladdin Jr. at Stagg High School in January. This year’s production included over 80 Palos South students who performed, created sets, served as stage crew, lighting, and sound. Lead performers included Leila Berthet as Genie, Teddy Wagner as Aladdin, and Sophia Sochacki as Jasmine. Palos South 8th Grade ELA Teacher Jessica Marovich directed along with 8th Grade ELA/Social Studies Teacher Kevin Graham who served as assistant director. Palos South Music teacher Amanda Schuller served as Music Director, Band Director Stavros Makropoulos oversaw sound and lighting, and art teacher Randy Buvala directed the play’s set design.
