Panhandler Found Wandering Inside Elementary School: Prosecutor
Prosecutors said man was asking teachers and students for money.

A man was arrested after he was found wandering inside an elementary school on Wednesday morning, prosecutors said.
Dennis Davis, 22, appeared before Cook County Judge Peter Felice on a misdemeanor charge of criminal trespassing on state supported land.
“Pull your pants up, I don’t want to see your underwear,” Judge Felice told Davis. “Just hold up your pants.”

Prosecutors said that Davis was walking through Turner Elementary School, 3847 W. 135th St., Crestwood, asking students and teachers for money.
“Don’t you go back there, Dennis,” Judge Felice said. “If you don’t have a kid there, you know you don’t belong in an elementary school.

Davis was released on a $5,000 I-Bond. He is due back in court in Bridgeview on March 30.
