78, of Mokena, passed away peacefully on February 9, 2024. She was surrounded by her loving family.
Preceded in death by her husband, James R. Nelson. Devoted mother of Jill (Jose) Alvarez. Dear sister of Bruce (Bonnie) Mathias. Dear sister-in law of Carol Nelson and brother-in-law Donald Nelson. Cherished Aunt and Great Aunt. Fond Friend to many.
Pat was raised in Roseland and was a Fenger High School graduate. After retiring from the Tinley Park Public Library, Pat enjoyed gardening, antiquing, reading and trips to Las Vegas.
