A patron pulled a knife at a fast-food restaurant after being told he could not park in handicapped parking without a placard, reports said.

Palos Hills police officers went to McDonald’s, 11050 Southwest Highway, last Tuesday for a reported aggravated assault.

The complainant told officers that after he informed the patron that he couldn’t park in the handicapped spot without a placard, the patron went back to his car and retrieved a long knife. The patron reentered the restaurant, and employees called the police, reports said.
