Pedestrian Hit By Car In Palos Heights

A man was hit by a car in Palos Heights near 128th Street and Ridgeland Avenue.

PALOS HEIGHTS, IL -- A pedestrian was struck by a car and seriously injured Wednesday evening in Palos Heights. No other vehicles appear to be involved. The accident happened around 11 p.m. at 128th Street and Ridgeland.

The pedestrian is reported as male. All lanes of Ridgeland Avenue are shut down from 127th Street to the north To Shepard High School to the south. The windshield of the car was shattered.
