Weary of reading obituaries noting someone’s courageous battle with death, Peter would have wanted it known that he died of being the rebel he always was. Taking his doctors sage advice sometimes, but not all the time. And only on his terms. When he could hear them.

He enjoyed cars, tolerated the Bears and White Sox and adored his many grandchildren, nieces and nephews. He was a regular at several restaurants on Harlem Avenue and his absence will likely make a material difference in supplies ordering for them. It had been some years since he last sold cars, but he maintained his ability to sell ketchup popsicles to anyone wearing white gloves.

Peter is preceded in death by his wife Mary Ann (nee Anastasia) and leaves behind children Peter Jr., Kimberly Ealey (late, Patrick), Michael (Angeline, nee Iwan), Stacy Campbell (Jeffrey), Zachary (Elizabeth, nee McNamara) and a gaggle of grandchildren: Kevin, Marissa, Nicholas, Matthew, Sam, Kayla, Sophia, Colin, Ryan, Mac and Luca, and many nieces and nephews.

Peter is also ready to reunite with his brother Anthony (Gloria, nee Malina), his mother Teresa (nee Gushi) and his father Charles.

Peter would never ask that you stop by his memorial service but would absolutely expect it and appreciate if you did. If you do, he would ask that you re-tell some of the stories he can no longer share.
