Prayers For Ukraine Offered Saturday At Sts. Peter and Paul

PALOS HEIGHTS, IL — The events of the past week have been upsetting, with many of us helplessly watching Ukraine fighting for its independence against the Russian invasion on TV and social media. We’ve also watched Russian people of all ages arrested in the cities of their own country protesting Putin’s assault on Ukraine.

If you’ve been looking for a place to gather with others, or to meditate and pray, St. Peter and Paul Ukrainian Orthodox Church, 8410 W. 131st St., Palos Park, invites people of all faiths to prayer service for peace. Prayers will be offered in Ukrainian and English starting at 1 p.m. Saturday, Feb. 26
