Raymond John Ekberg, U.S. Army Veteran of WWII, age 91, passed away peacefully at home Monday, November 24th

He leaves behind his first and only love, Josephine (nee Gavigan).

Devoted father of Mary Jo (Lance) Allison, Kathy (Mike) Foszcz & Raymond (Gail) Ekberg.
Proud papa of Maureen, Eric, Alannah & Ananeveah.
Preceded in death by his daughter Maureen Bernadette.
Known by friends and family as an honorable and talented man, Ray always had a ready smile for all. Ray loved adventure, working out, the Arts and bringing beauty to this world. He had a generous spirit and would literally give you the shirt off his back. Ray loved his many friends and relatives, especially his extended family in England & Ireland.

Visitation Friday, November 28th from 3 until 9 p.m.

Chapel prayers Saturday, November 29th, 9:30 a.m. at the Kerry Funeral Home, 7020 W. 127th Street, Palos Heights, proceeding to Saint Alexander Church, Mass 10:00 a.m.

Interment Holy Sepulchre Cemetery.
