“I want to just take this one last moment of your time to thank every one of you for all your support all Primary Elections Season and our recent November 4th General Elections Season. It’s been a long journey and I’ve met so many wonderful people along with way. I am proud to call you all my friends.
I went into this campaign with a serious focus on informing our District Three residents that we as a nation, a state and a district can do better than our current leadership in Washington D.C. I believed that then, and I believe that now.
Though we had lost the election as a whole, we had some serious victories in our elections results.
Since 2004, never has a challenger received 50% of the vote throughout Will County. District 3 hold host to Will County cities such as Joliet, Crest Hill, Romeoville, Lockport, Homer Glen and others. Throughout Will County, with your help, we received 50% of the vote. This is unheard of and we’re so proud of you. You let Dan Lipinski know that you’re not happy with his voting record and how he represents your interests in Washington DC.
But we are not done with the good news.
In DuPage County we received over 45% of the vote. The 3rd District does not have many precincts in DuPage County, however, for those that live there, you sent Dan Lipinski another message that he should not ignore you!
In addition, in Cook County, the polling suggested that we would only receive around 30% of the vote... Well because of your hard work, we received 40% of the vote! Cook County is the heart of District 3. And 40% of you sent a message that big money spending and misinformation regarding Lipinski’s voting record couldn’t sway you!
So lets take a look at what we’ve achieved!
Almost 1/2 of the entire District is unhappy with the voting record and representation of Dan Lipinski in Congress!
As a candidate, it’s not easy going up against a 10-year incumbent with more than $800,000 in his campaign war chest compared to my less than $20,000! Yes. You read that right. I received no funding from PACs or the RNC (not by my choice). Most of the funding that I used for my campaign came from personal savings because I believed in myself and I believed that we deserve better. I still do. We need to hold our representatives accountable for their votes despite the fact gerrymandering benefits the party in power. If we don’t, our Republic will most certainly be doomed for failure. With the results Of this election, I also believe that PACS and the RNC will take a closer look at the third district and the candidates slated.
Not only did I run for office just to give citizens a clear and distinct choice on the November ballot, but I also ran because I too live in Cook County and care about our State and our Nation! I ran to let the people of our District know that someone is listening to your needs and is fighting for you! This country is still a more conservative country that what we’ve been served by the media. Having said that, I believe that far-left liberal policies are hurting our nation and that our “free market” society and principles that expand “liberty” are the key to our Nation’s survival. We need to stand up and be heard.
While we’ve lost this race, I don’t believe it’s ever a lost cause to believe in our Republic form of government and to fight for your beliefs. This is something that I hope you take with you as future candidates step-up to plate.
Thank you all again. I am humbled to have over 60,000 of you believe in me and in the hope for a brighter future.
May God Bless You and God Bless The United States of America.”
