Register For Moraine Valley Fall 2018 Semester

PALOS HILLS, IL -- In case you missed the commercials, the fall 2018 semester at Moraine Valley Community College starts Aug. 20 with on-campus credit classes. Credit classes at the education centers in Blue Island and Tinley Park, and on-campus continuing education classes start Aug. 27. Off-campus education classes start Sept. 4. Registration is now underway.

Moraine Valley offers classes for students who want to transfer to four-year colleges or universities by earning associate degrees in Applied Science, Arts, Science, or General Studies. Students also can choose from several certificate career programs offered at the college, including Allied Health and Nursing, Business and Computer Sciences, Industrial Technology, Automotive Technology, and Public Service. Additionally, the college offers a number of noncredit courses and workshops.

Courses are offered in different formats to accommodate students’ needs. These flexible learning options include evening, off-campus, one-day-a-week, online, short-term, and weekend classes.

With an annual average cost of $4,356, attending Moraine Valley can save students thousands of dollars per year compared to private colleges or universities.

A complete list of credit and noncredit classes can be found in the fall 2018 class schedule or online on the college website. Registration is ongoing. Tuition is $125 per credit hour plus fees and books. New students must complete an admission application and then can register in the Registration Office, located on campus in the Student Services Center (Building S), 9000 W.
