Remembering Their Service: Palos Hosts Veterans Day Ceremonies
Palos Hills and Palos Park will honor local veterans in their respective communities Friday, Nov. 11.
PALOS, IL — The Palos communities are planning Veterans Day remembrance ceremonies this Friday, Nov. 11.
Palos Park
Starting at noon, the Village of Palos Park will host its annual Veterans Day Ceremony at the Palos Park Recreation Center, 8901 W. 123rd St. Following the ceremony, light refreshments will be served.
Palos Hills
Join the City of Palos Hills as they honor all those who fought and served in our nation’s conflicts on Veterans Day. Observances will start at 6 p.m. Friday, Nov. 11, at the Veterans Memorial, Town Square Park, 8455 W. 103rd St. For more information, call the community center at 708-430-4500.

Refreshments will be served following the ceremony. If inclement weather, the ceremony will be moved inside.
