'Rid Litter Day' Seeks Volunteers To Keep Palos Park Beautiful

PALOS PARK, IL – Keep Palos Park beautiful by joining your neighbors for “Rid Litter Day” Saturday, April 22. Meet at 9 a.m. in front of the Palos Park Recreation Center, 8901 W. 123rd St. Gloves, vests and bags will be distributed, although participants are encouraged to bring their own gloves.

Since the first Rid Litter Day in 1997, volunteers have collected over three tons of littler. Service hour forms can be signed on Saturday for students looking for community service hours for high school or confirmation students.
