Robbers Rush Cashier In Strong Arm Robbery: Police
No weapons were displayed and or inferred during the robbery, Palos Heights police said.
PALOS HEIGHTS, IL — A pair of robbers rushed a cashier in a strong arm robbery at a convenience store late Monday afternoon, police said.
The 7-Eleven at Ridgeland Avenue and 135th Street in Palos Heights was the main topic of conversation among residents on neighborhood social media, who noticed many police vehicles at the store.
Around 5:30 p.m., two black males entered the 7-Eleven, where they rushed the cashier behind the counter, police said. No weapons were displayed and or inferred during the robbery. It appeared that the men ran out of an emergency exit with an undetermined amount of cash.

Palos Heights detectives investigated the robbery scene for several hours and were working up a vehicle description, police said in a brief statement. Detectives are working to recover surveillance video.
