MONDAY, DEC. 21
Warrant Arrest
William J. Weaver, 29, of the 12400 block of South 71st Court, was arrested Dec. 21 for a valid warrant from the Cook County Sheriff’s Police Department, according to Palos Heights police reports.

An officer stopped Weaver at about midnight in the 12200 block of 71st Court as he was walking behind a business district, the report stated. A background check found an active Cook County warrant against Weaver, and he was taken into custody, the report added.

Warrant Arrest
Danny Lamberes, 69, of the 12800 block of South Greenwood Avenue, Blue Island, was arrested Dec. 19 for a valid warrant from the Justice Police Department, according to Palos Heights police reports.
Lamberes was taken into custody at about 3:25 a.m., as he was walking into 7-Eleven, 11900 S. Harlem Ave., because of an outstanding warrant from Justice police for telephone harassment, the report added.
Lamberes was then turned over to Justice police, the report stated.
THURSDAY, DEC. 17
Rocks Thrown Through Metra Station Windows
Two windows of the Metra Station on Southwest Highway were broken Dec. 17 by rocks thrown at them, according to Palos Heights police reports.
WEDNESDAY, DEC. 16
DUI
Mary L. Martin, 52, of the 10500 block of South Ridgeland Avenue, Worth, was arrested and charged with driving under the influence and speeding after a Dec. 16 traffic stop, according to Palos Heights police reports.
Police clocked Martin at around 9 p.m., going 60 mph in a 40-mph zone in the 12400 block of Sout Ridgeland Avenue, the report stated. During the stop, police noticed Martin had an open container of alcohol and showed signs that she had been drinking, the report added.
After failing field sobriety tests, Martin was taken into custody, but she refused to submit to chemical testing at the station, the report stated. Martin was held on $1,500 bond, and her court date is Jan. 25.
