Dist. 218 Hosts College And Career Fair Oct. 25 For Students And Parents
Representatives from colleges and the armed forces will be available to discuss college options with high school students on Oct. 25.
OAK LAWN, IL -- CHSD District 218 will host its annual College and Career Fair on Wednesday, Oct. 25 from 4 to 6 p.m. at the Dist. 218 Administrative Center, 10701 S. Kilpatrick Avenue in Oak Lawn. The college is free and open to all students from Richards, Shepard and Eisenhower high schools.
Admissions representatives from more than 100 colleges and universities, vocational and technical schools, and the U.S. armed forces will be on hand to answer questions about their respective schools and discuss the transition from high school to college. Professionals from labor unions and assorted career fields will also be available to discuss careers in the trades.
The college fair is free. Parents are encouraged to attend with students. Here are some video highlights from last year's college fair at Shepard High School.
