Worth Township Youth Commission Hiring Camp Counselors

Worth Township Youth Commission is hiring summer camp counselors. Must be 16 or over.

ALSIP, IL -- Worth Township Youth Commission is now accepting applications for summer camp counselor positions for the upcoming summer. Applicants must be 16 or older, pass an Illinois State Police background check and have a valid driver's license or state ID. Applicants must be enthusiastic, creative, flexible and responsible. Camp counselors must serve as a positive role model to younger campers and be a hard worker.

Applicants must be available to work from June 4 through August 3 or June 25 through August 3. Camps vary in times and days with different age groups. The position pays $8.25 an hour. Camp counselors are also required to attend a mandatory, three-day training and certification before camp starts in the summer.

This is a six- or nine-week commitment. If you can’t report for work for each of your scheduled work days please do not apply.
