Sales Associate Wanted

We are looking for highly motivated people with sales experience. If you have a passion for electronics, a positive attitude and enjoy working with the latest audio and video technology then this job is for you.

This Sales Associate will provide unique solutions based on the clients need ensuring customers’ end-to-end needs are met by leveraging all channels including hardware, accessories, connections, content and services. They should excel at selling products and services. As a trusted advisor and partner, they develop strong relationships with customers and maintain long term relationships. The associate will spend time reading and attending training sessions to learn about the products we carry.

Duties Include:

·         Greet customers with a friendly and courteous attitude

·         Properly explain and demonstrate various AV, automation, security and lighting products

·         Inspire customers by showing them what’s possible with technology

·         Assist with generating quotes upon customer request

·         Perform other duties as assigned.

Basic Requirements:

·         MUST HAVE reliable transportation to and from our showroom (Palos Heights, IL)

·         Fluent in the English language

·         High School Diploma

·         Experience working with technology

·         Be comfortable leading a conversation

·         Professional attitude and attire while representing the business

·         Willingness to attend training seminars to further knowledge of products carried

Preferred Requirements:

·         Have an inherent technical ability and a natural understanding of electronics

·         Have earned or working toward a college degree in business, marketing, technology, engineering or a related field. And/Or 1-3 years’ experience with consumer electronics sales

·         Knowledge of any of the following brands: Control4, Lutron, RTI, Sonos, Denon, Sony

·         Experience working for a consumer electronics store or custom A/V installer

·         An Ideal candidate would know the term “Audiophile” and identify themself with the meaning
